NITZER EBB

Nitzer Ebb’s spring tour was a bit neutered, with half the group unable to make it due to visa issues, leaving Douglas McCarthy and Bon Harris to perform as a duo. For the industrial/EBM band’s upcoming fall tour, however, Nitzer Ebb have announced it will be all four members: McCarthy, Harris and David Gooday and Simon Granger. The tour kicks off September 18 at Brooklyn’s Warsaw, and also hits Austin, Chicago, Detroit, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Mexico City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. ONE ELEVEN HEAVY

Transatlantic jammy psych-rockers One Eleven Heavy will release their new album, Desire Path, on September 20 via Beyond Beyond the Beyond. You can check out Grateful Dead-in-a-gutter vibes of new single “Chickenshit” below. The band will head out on tour this weekend, kicking things off at Brooklyn’s Union Pool on Sunday, September 1 with Matt Valentine’s Wet Tuna, and they’ll also play Kingston, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Milwaukee, Louisville, Cincinnati, Columbus, Philly and Albany before wrapping things up at Queens’ Trans-Pecos on September 14. NOBUNNY

Masked bubblebum garagepunk weirdo Nobunny will be on the East Coast for a few dates in November, including Columbus, Pittsburgh, Brooklyn (11/23 @ Brooklyn Bazaar for NY Night Train’s Soul Clap and Dance-Off), and Lakewood, OH. Head here for dates.

RAKIM

Hip hop icon Rakim has a memoir on the way, and he’s touring as well, both solo and with Eric B.

SECRET SHAME

Asheville, NC’s Secret Shame make gloomy, melodic rock steeped in ’80s goth and post-punk. The band’s debut album, Dark Synthetics, is out next week and you can check out three songs from that below. You can catch them on tour in September, starting at Raleigh’s Hopscotch Festival, and they’ll also play Richmond, York, PA, Brooklyn (9/13 @ The Broadway with Autodrone and more), and Greensboro, NC before wrapping things up with a hometown record release show. TAMARYN

Shoegaze/synthpop artist Tamaryn, who released Dreaming in the Dark earlier this year, has a few West Coast dates in November, including Oakland, Portland and Seattle, all of which are with NGHTCRWLR and Foie Gras. She’s also got an L.A. show which is with Maraschino, and Glaare. All dates are here.
