PAUL MCCARTNEY

With new album Egypt Station due out September 7, Paul McCartney has announced the “Freshen Up” tour. Only four dates so far, all in September, all in Canada: Quebec City, Montreal, Winnipeg, and Edmonton, AB. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 13 at 10 AM local time, with verified fan presales starting July 10 at 10 AM local time. You’ll need to register for Paul McCartney Verified Fan by Sunday, July 8 at 10 PM to be eligible for the presale. Paul will also play this year’s Austin City Limits fest. All dates and details here.

THE SHACKS / CULTS

Effervescent indie pop act The Shacks, who released their enjoyable debut album earlier this year, will be on tour beginning in August, including shows with Cults. Before those Cults dates, they’ll play Brooklyn’s Rough Trade on 8/11. Head here for dates and tickets.

LA FORCE

La Force, the solo project of Broken Social Scene vocalist Ariel Engle, recently shared the pretty, lightly psychedelic single “Lucky One” and you can check out the video for that below. If you’d like to hear more, La Force will be on tour this fall including a NYC show on October 10 at Mercury Lounge and a Philadelphia show on October 12 at Ortlieb’s Lounge. Tickets for both those shows are on sale now. The rest of her dates are in Canada and you can find them all here.

FOXING / RATBOYS / KISSISSIPPI

Foxing’s highly anticipated new album Nearer My God comes out in August and they just added two very good openers to their upcoming tour: Ratboys (who released GN last year) and Kississippi (who released Sunset Blush this year). All dates here.

LATTERMAN

Beloved Long Island punks Latterman are reunited but their shows are still few and far between. They announced three dates for this August.
