MINERAL

Aside from sharing their first song in two decades, reunited emo veterans Mineral announced a 25th-anniversary tour last month, which includes a NYC show at Elsewhere on 1/19. The band has since added two additional shows to their tour; a second NYC-area show at NJ’s Asbury Lanes on 1/18, and a second San Diego show at Che Cafe on 2/2. All dates listed here.

QUEEN with ADAM LAMBERT

Surviving members of Queen recently announced a North American tour with replacement vocalist Adam Lambert, which includes a night at NYC’s Madison Square Garden on 8/6, which is mostly sold-out (unless you want to spend around $900). They’ve just added a second night at MSG on 8/7, and tickets go on sale next Friday (12/14) at 10 AM. You can find all upcoming dates here.

TOMBERLIN OPENING FOR PEDRO THE LION / WHY?

Tomberlin continues to stay busy on tour behind this year’s excellent, personal At Weddings, including a few shows opening for two different, great, veteran indie bands. First, she’ll join WHY? on their Alopecia anniversary tour in January, which hits Lancaster, Providence, and Holyoke. After that, she’ll open for Pedro the Lion’s February shows, stopping in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Denver, and more. Check here for all upcoming dates.

FIRE IN THE MOUNTAINS INITIAL LINEUP

Outdoor metal fest Fire In The Mountains takes place at the Heart Six Ranch in Moran, WY from July 13-14, 2019, and the fest has revealed their first wave of bands, consisting of German black metal outfit The Ruins of Beverast, Scottish atmospheric metal band Saor, and Americana group Munly and the Lupercalians. PINEGROVE

Pinegrove recently announced a 2019 tour which went on sale today. Some shows already sold out, so the band added new dates in Atlanta, Chicago, and New Jersey.

WU-TANG CLAN

The legendary Wu-Tang Clan sold out both their NYC/Philly 36 Chambers anniversary shows, but they’ve just added second nights in both cities.

KING CRIMSON

Prog legends King Crimson announced 50th-anniversary US shows (with sole original member Robert Fripp), including NYC, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

JOHN PRINE

The great John Prine announced several 2019 tour dates following this year’s The Tree of Forgiveness, including two NYC-area theater shows.
