THE ROLLING STONES

Mick, Keith and the rest of the gang are getting back into it with the upcoming “No Filter” tour, which begins rolling in Miami on April 20 and includes stops in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Boston, New York (6/17 @ MetLife Stadium) and Chicago. They’ve just added their only Canadian date of the tour, but it’s a big one — a Canada Day (June 29) show at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte which is an hour north of Toronto and can accommodate some 70,000 concertgoers. BECK / CAGE THE ELEPHANT / SPOON

Fresh off his Grammy win, Beck has announced a big tour with Cage the Elephant and Spoon along for the ride, plus Starcrawler, Sunflower Bean and Wild Belle on select dates.

HEART / SHERYL CROW / JOAN JETT / BRANDI CARLILE

Rock legends Heart will be out on the road this summer with a hard-to-resist undercard of Sheryl Crow, Joan Jett and new Grammy-winner Brandi Carlile.

CAR SEAT HEADREST

Car Seat Headrest have announced new North American tour dates this summer, beginning June 22 in New Haven, CT and including stop in Dover, DE, Buffalo, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Nashville, Cincinnati, Des Moines, and Omaha. The band also have a few big shows on their schedule: this Saturday’s date opening for Interpol at NYC’s Madison Square Garden (with Snail Mail also on the bill), Colorado’s Red Rocks in May with Interpol, and the Hollywood Bowl in August opening for Death Cab for Cutie. THE DISTILLERS

Early 2000s punk greats The Distillers reunited in 2018, playing their first shows since breaking up in 2006 and revealing plans for their first new album in 16 years. After teasing an announcement for today (2/11), they’ve announced a new round of tour dates.

RODRIGO Y GABRIELA

Mexican acoustic duo Rodrigo Y Gabriela have a new album, Mettavolution, out in April and they’ve just announce a North American tour that begins May 4 at Austin, TX’s ACL Live and continues early June, hitting Boston, Philadelphia, NYC (5/18 @ Beacon Theatre), Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, Nashville, Wilmington, Charlottesville, the DC area, and Cleveland. ICE CUBE

Ice Cube will be on tour this year, including dates with Snoop Dogg.

YEAH YEAH YEAHS

Yeah Yeah Yeahs are playing Los Angeles’ Just Like Heaven fest in May and have added a couple more dates that month, including ACL Live in Austin and the Corona Capital festival Guadalajara. Those three shows are it for now.

FILTHY FRIENDS (MEMBERS OF SLEATER-KINNEY, REM, MORE)

Filthy Friends, the supergroup featuring Corin Tucker of Sleater-Kinney, Peter Buck of REM, Scott McCaughey (REM, Young Fresh Fellows) Kurt Bloch (YFF, Fastbacks) and more, have a new album on the way and will tour for it too.

It’s been three years, but Yeasayer are back with promise of new music and a few live dates.

HOWARD JONES & MEN WITHOUT HATS

New wave synthpop hitmaker Howard Jones has expanded his 2019 tour, which now includes shows with fellow ’80s vets Men Without Hats. Summer dates kick off in Huntington, NY’s Paramount Theatre on June 6, and include shows in Asbury Park (6/12 @ Asbury Lanes), NYC (6/13 @ PlayStation Theater), Cleveland, Cincinnati, Detroit, Chicago, Milwaukee, Kansas City, and more. PERTURBATOR / GosT

If you prefer your synthesizers darker and louder, Perturbator will on on the road with GosT,  beginning April 24 in Dallas, and will hit both coasts over the next month, with shows in Austin, Phoenix, San Diego, L.A., Oakland, Seattle Portland, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Philly, NYC (Irving Plaza on 5/16) and more. GUNNA

Atlanta rapper Gunna has announced the “Drip or Drown 2” which is with Shy Glizzy and kicks off March 31 in Anaheim CA and wraps up in his hometown on May 16. Dates includes stops.in San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, the NYC-area (Irving Plaza & Wellmont Theatre), Philly, Boston, DC, Memphis, and more. MURPHY’S LAW

NYC hardcore vets Murphy’s Law kick off a tour on Friday (2/15) at Staten Island’s Freeze Fest with Enrage and more, and will be out through March, including shows in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, as well as plus NYC (Bowery Electric on 3/17), Milwaukee, Chicago and Cleveland. All dates are here.

DAMIEN JURADO & ANNA ST LOUIS

Damien Jurado’s new album is out in April, and he’ll be touring with Anna St. Louis right after it’s out.

FLOCK OF DIMES & MADELINE KENNEY

Flock of Dimes’ Jenn Wasner produced Madeline Kenney’s 2018 album and now the two have announced a short spring tour. Dates are in April on the West Coast, stopping in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland and Whidbey Island, WA. They’re got a split-single just for the tourhead here for all dates.

NICOLE BYER

Comedian Nicole Byer, who you may know from Netflix’s delightfully amateurish pastry competition Nailed It!, has stand-up dates lined up this year. with upcoming shows in Bloomington, Seattle, Vancouver, Tempe, Nashville, Brooklyn (4/11 @ The Bell House), and more. FRANK ZAPPA HOLOGRAM TOUR

Adrian Belew is no long part of it (through Steve Vai will play some shows), but that Frank Zappa hologram tour is finally happening, with Zappa bandmates Ray White, Mike Keneally, Scott Thunes, Robert Martin, Ed Mann, drummer/Zappa archivist Joe Travers, and more.
