THE LOVE LANGUAGE / BAT FANGS

Raleigh indie rockers The Love Language are releasing new album Baby Grand on August 3 via Merge, and supporting it on tour. MIMICKING BIRDS

Portland indie rockers (and Modest Mouse associates) Mimicking Birds are hitting the road behind this year’s Layers of Us. Dates include a show in Brooklyn at Elsewhere (Zone One) on 9/13. You can stream the new album:

Swedish skate punk vets No Fun At all returned this year with Grit, their first album since 2008 (and first since reuniting again in 2013), and now they’re set to tour North America for the first time in a while. The run starts in Quebec City and then hits Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus the next night (9/8), and there are a handful of dates after that, including West Coast shows with Lagwagon. All dates here. BEE BEE SEA

Italian garage-psych band Bee Bee Sea, who released Sonic Boomerang last year, are heading across the Atlantic for their first ever U.S. tour. Things kick off in Asbury Part at The Saint on July 17 and the tour also hits Brooklyn’s Elsewhere Zone One on July 20. Those two shows, and their 7/21 Philly show, are with Jane Church (ex-Spires) and all dates are listed here. Stream Sonic Boomerang below.

KRAUS

Kraus, the noisy shoegaze solo pseudonym of Dallas musician Will Kraus, released new LP Path back in May, including a special cassette edition via Terrible Records with the whole LP on one side and a 10-track ambient collection titled Idyll on the other side. Stream Path below. Kraus will be on tour with A Place to Bury Strangers this fall but will be on a headlining tour this summer, including a Brooklyn show at Baby’s All Right on August 6.
