CHAI

Off-the-wall Japanese band CHAI released their very catchy new album PUNK this week, combining a neo-kawaii aesthetic with influences pulling from post-punk, indie pop, and more. All dates can be found here.

RUSSIAN BATHS

Hazy Brooklyn post-punks Russian Baths recently made a hometown NYC stop as part of New Colossus Festival, and after their current stint at SXSW, they’ll be heading back to NYC for a sold-out show opening for UK experimental band Black Midi at Union Pool on 3/20. Their only other show at the moment is at Bethlehem, PA’s National Sokols on 3/23 (w/ Lunacy, IXVLF, and Suitcase Full of Money).
