THE GARDEN / TIJUANA PANTHERS / COWGIRL CLUE

Orange County garage punk jesters The Garden followed their 2015 album Haha today with Mirror Might Steal Your Charm on Epitaph. They’ve also announced a tour, including several dates with Tijuana Panthers and Cowgirl Clue. Among the many tour stops is Brooklyn’s Market Hotel on 4/18. All dates and tickets HERE. FÖLLAKZOID

Chilean psych band Föllakzoid, whose most recent album is 2015’s III, will be back in the U.S. for Austin’s Levitation festival in April and will be playing Los Angeles, Chicago and New York while over here. The NYC date happens April 29 at Rough Trade (tickets).

Ireland’s punky, power poppy alternative rock vets Ash are releasing a new album and touring this year.

A BOOGIE WIT DA HOODIE

Bronx rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is bigger than ever, and he has several upcoming tour dates, including three in his home city.

GALLANT

Alt-R&B singer Gallant announced intimate NYC and LA shows. No other news yet, but maybe word of new music is coming soon.

DAVE HAUSE with ROGER HAVEY, MARTHA WAINWRIGHT & more

Having just wrapped up a UK/EU tour with The Gaslight Anthem’s Brian Fallon, The Loved Ones frontman Dave Hause has several more tour dates coming up, including headlining shows with support from underrated singer/songwriter Roger Harvey. Dave is also taking part in a 50th anniversary celebration of the Guthrie Family Legacy at NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge on 5/10 with Martha Wainwright, Brendan Fletcher, and other special guests that aren’t currently announced. Suuns / FACS

Both Montreal’s Suuns and Chicago’s FACS (ex-Disappears) have new albums out that share a dark, post-punk vibe. They’ll be sharing a van soon, as the two bands will be on tour together starting May 20 in Toronto and they’ll be in NYC to play Elsewhere Hall on May 23.

NICKI BLUHM

Nicki Bluhm, who has played a bunch of recent shows as a member of Phil Lesh’s band, is releasing her next solo album To Rise You Gotta Fall on June 1 via Compass Records. Her band for the album includes keyboardist Al Gamble (St. Paul & the Broken Bones), guitarist Will Sexton (touring Bob Dylan member), and drummer Ken Coomer (ex-Wilco). Nicki is also going on an extensive tour, including a NYC show on July 25 at Bowery Ballroom. All dates and tickets HERE. Listen to the soulful title track:

VISCERA INFEST / SUBLIME CADAVERIC DECOMPOSITION

Japanese goregrinders Viscera Infest are going on their first-ever North American tour around Maryland Deathfest with likeminded French bands Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition and Pulmonary Fibrosis, and Taiwan’s Myxoma.

WAX IDOLS

Hether Fortune’s band Wax Idols will release new album Happy Ending in May, via Fortune’s own Etruscan Gold label. The band have a San Francisco show in April and have a West Coast tour plotted for June.

FELICIA ATKINSON

French experimental/ambient musician Félicia Atkinson has announced a short US tour that begins tonight with her first of two NYC shows. She’ll be performing entirely different pieces at each.

A$AP Ferg had to postpone his April tour dates (Terminal 5 show included) but has rescheduled them for July.
