Thursday’s next 20th anniversary tour stop is at LA’s Echoplex on 11/16 and 11/17, where they’ll be playing Full Collapse in full on night one, and War All The Time in full on night two. They just announced openers for those shows, and they’re both reunited LA bands with new music: screamo band Taken who released their first new EP in 14 years this year, and indie pop act Mellowdrone. Mellowdrone returned this year, following a hiatus which included frontman Jonathan Bates touring as a member of M83 and releasing music as Big Black Delta. They released two EPs this year, 2018 and 3, both of which you can stream below. After the LA shows, Thursday’s tour includes a four-night run of Full Collapse/WATT shows at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg around the holidays (openers TBA), and another Brooklyn show at Saint Vitus in March 2019 with American Pleasure Club.
