MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT

Chicago’s My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult have been peddling kitschy electro-sleaze since the late-’80s. Though the band hit their creative peak in the mid-’90s with the deliciously lurid Sexplosion!, founders Groovie Mann and Buzz McCoy have kept the bondage gear on ever since, popping out records every few years, like this year’s In the House of Strange Affairs which you can listen to below. The band will be on the road in October and November with Curse Mackey, pulling into Cleveland, Buffalo, Cambridge, NYC (10/24 @ Le Poisson Rouge), Philly, Baltimore, Jacksonville, Tampa, Atlanta, Chicago and more. All dates are here.

AMYL & THE SNIFFERS

Australian rabble rousers Amyl & The Sniffers kick off their North American tour on Saturday at the Burger Boogaloo in Oakland, CA and from there will make their way around North America with stops in Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Austin, New Orleans, Atlanta, Raleigh, DC, Philly, Brooklyn (Market Hotel on 7/19), Allston, Montreal, Toronto, Hamtramck, MI, and Milwaukee. All dates are here and check out their new video for “Some Mutts (Can’t Be Muzzled),” from their debut album, here:

MANEKA

Maneka is the project of former Speedy Ortiz/Grass Is Green guitarist Devin McKnight, and he’s got upcoming tour dates.

GRINGO STARR

Atlanta garage rock outfit Gringo Starr begin their North American tour this Friday (7/5) in Asheville, NC and from there proceed to DC, Anapolis, NYC (Mercury Lounge on 7/8), Grand Rapids, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, Tampa and more. All dates are here and you can listen to last year’s Back to the City, below.
