BOYS NOIZE

Now he announced a fall North American tour, including a NYC show at Kings Hall at Avant Gardner (part of Brooklyn Mirage). Tickets for all dates are on presale now (password = NOIZE2018).

HO99O9 opening for MARILYN MANSON

Experimental punk/rap duo Ho99o9 (pronounced “horror”) have been tapped as openers for some of Marilyn Manson’s upcoming fall dates across the southern US, which should make for a very abrasive double-bill. This includes shows in Nashville, Memphis, and Orlando, among others. You can view those dates here.

RJD2

Producer and and hip hop collagist RJD2 has a few dates coming up, including October dates in Atlanta and Greenfield, MA and a December show in Seattle. Before that he’ll play NYC’s soon-to-open Playboy Club on September 15 (tickets on sale 8/29 at noon).

BASS DRUM OF DEATH

Oxford, Mississippi’s Bass Drum of Death just released new LP Just Business (stream it below) and have announced a fall tour in support of it. Dates begin in Nashville on October 19 and wrap up in New Orleans on November 9. There’s also a NYC show at Bowery Ballroom on October 29. Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday, August 31.

HOLLIE COOK

LVL UP

Back in June, LVL UP announced they’ll be officially disbanding after one final tour, which concludes with two previously-announced, sold-out NYC shows: Baby’s All Right on 9/27, and Bowery Ballroom on 9/28. The band has just added an early show at Baby’s on 9/27, which marks 3 NYC dates total. Find updated dates here.

VETIVER / FRUIT BATS (both solo)

Vetiver just wrapped up a tour with the recently-regrouped Espers, and the band’s frontman Andy Cabic will soon be embarking on a solo tour. He’ll be joined by Fruit Bats leader Eric D. Johnson, and they’ll be hitting NYC’s Union Pool on 11/15, in addition to other shows in Richmond, Philadelphia, Annapolis, and more. All tour dates listed here.

OSHUN

NYC-based neo-soul duo OSHUN have gained a reputation for putting on a killer live show, and they’ve got some North American dates coming up, including a NYC stop at Baby’s All Right on 10/8, along with more east coast dates. Head here for all dates.

GRAHAM VAN PELT

After a few years of hibernation, Miracle Fortress and Think About Life’s Graham Van Pelt is back with a new album of forward-thinking electronic pop, and a North American tour that includes a Brooklyn show, plus West Coast dates with Suuns.
