tours announced: Weezer/Pixies, Lil Ugly Mane/No Warning, The LOX, Rakim, more

The following new tours were announced. Check the Tour Dates category every day for more.

WEEZER / PIXIES

Veteran alt-rock bands Weezer (who just announced that The Black Album will come out in 2019) and Pixies already did one co-headlining tour this past summer, and they’ll be doing it again in spring 2019. The tour includes stops in Louisville, Montreal, Baltimore, Memphis, Des Moines, Vancouver, Las Vegas, and more. No NYC shows on this run (the closest they come is Albany and Connecticut), but Pixies will be in NYC before this tour for their Come On Pilgrim/Surfer Rosa shows in November. Tickets for the Weezer/Pixies tour go on sale Friday (10/19). Check out all dates here.

LIL UGLY MANE (with NO WARNING and more)

Lil Ugly Mane, who was last supposed to play a couple NYC shows as a member of Secret Circle (before they broke up), is now heading out on a tour of his own. He’ll be joined by hardcore punks No Warning for most of these shows, and he’ll be stopping in many US cities, including Cleveland, NYC (Brooklyn Bazaar on 11/5), Chicago, Columbus, Philadelphia, and more. The Brooklyn show doesn’t include No Warning, and instead is with Tommy Wright III, Nickelus F, Stigmatism, and Terrorist. Find all dates here.

TY SEGALL

With his upcoming covers album out on October 26, Ty Segall has hit the road. He’s wrapping up a tour where he’s playing with White Fence, that hits Desert Daze this weekend, and then his solo acoustic tour starts next week which will go coast to coast.

HOLIDAY HIP HOP JAM (THE LOX, RAKIM, BLACK MOON, EPMD, M.O.P)

Queens College’s Kupferberg Center for the Arts is hosting a Holiday Hip Hop Jam on 11/23, with an exciting lineup filled with veteran New York rappers, including The LOX (aka Jadakiss, Sheek Louch, and Styles P), EPMD, Rakim, M.O.P, and Black Moon (tickets). Styles P, who just released a collaborative album with Dave East (including a song featuring all of The LOX), also has a NYC show with Dave East at Irving Plaza on 10/17. Black Moon have another NYC show as well at SOB’s on 10/18, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of their 1993 debut album Enta Da Stage.

MUMFORD & SONS / MAGGIE ROGERS

Mumford & Sons expanded their tour with Maggie Rogers, which now includes two Madison Square Garden shows in December.

CAT POWER

Cat Power, who recently was in NYC for The National’s fest at Forest Hills Stadium, continues to tour behind her great new album Wanderer. Her schedule currently includes two more NYC appearances: one at Live From Here with Chris Thile at Town Hall, and a proper show at Brooklyn Steel.

PUDDLES PITY PARTY

Puddles, the six foot eight clown with the golden voice, will be bringing his way with a cover song (as seen on America’s Got Talent) to a club near you.

VISION OF DISORDER

LIHC vets Vision of Disorder haven’t played their hometown area in a few years but that will finally change with their one-off at Brooklyn’s Kingsland in December. It’s currently their only upcoming date.
