MISFITS / RANCID / THE DAMNED
The reunited Misfits (with Glenn Danzig, Jerry Only, and Doyle) announced a Madison Square Garden show with Rancid and The Damned, bringing their total of upcoming shows to five. Rancid and The Damned also have other dates.
WILLIE NELSON’s OUTLAW MUSIC FESTIVAL TOUR
Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour, which has him out with a revolving group of acts including Phil Lesh & Friends, Alison Krauss, Avett Brothers and more, has added more dates, including Darien Center, NY’s Darien Lake Amphitheater on September 8 with Krauss, Lesh and Bonnie Raitt. The tour hits NYC a few days later at Forest Hills Stadium — all dates are here.
MAXO KREAM / Q DA FOOL
Maxo Kream is releasing his major label debut Brandon Banks this month and he’ll support it on a fall tour with Q Da Fool.
CLAUDIO SIMONETTI’S GOBLIN
Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin are promising that a “full tour announcement is coming soon,” but first, they’ve announced a NYC show where they will perform their classic score for Dario Argento’s 1975 film Deep Red (Profondo Rosso) in full. More dates soon.
BLACK TUSK / CLOAK
Two heavy Georgia bands, sludge-punks Black Tusk and classic rock-inspired black metallers Cloak, are doing a Southeast run together this September, hitting New Orleans, Houston, Austin, Dallas, Little Rock, and Memphis (all dates here). Black Tusk also have a few other shows this week, and, as mentioned, Cloak are touring with Khemmis (including Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus on 7/19).
TAYLOR MCFERRIN
Former Brainfeeder artist, R+R=NOW member, and son of Bobby McFerrin, Taylor McFerrin announced a new album and shows.
GHOSTFACE KILLAH
Ghostface’s new album is out in August and shortly after he’ll celebrate its release in NYC in September. He’s also playing Toronto’s Festival of Beer in July with Raekwon, Public Enemy and more.
