WORLD/INFERNO FRIENDSHIP SOCIETY

Theatrical punk/folk/klezmer collective World/Inferno Friendship Society will release All Borders Are Porous to Cats in January and have just announced a North American tour supporting it. Dates kick off January 12 in Austin and the tour also hits Houston, New Orleans, Miami, Atlanta, Richmond, Baltimore, Philly, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Oakland, Los Angeles, Denver, and more. West and West Coast dates are with Bridge City Sinners. Before the tour, WIFS play a Brooklyn New Year’s Eve show at The Kingsland. 070 SHAKE

New Jersey rapper/singer 070 Shake has been on the rise for a few years, and she got a bigger boost in fame when she was prominently featured on several albums from Kanye’s Wyoming sessions last year. He debut album was just announced for January and she’ll also be heading out on a world tour in support.

GRADUATING LIFE

Graduating Life, the quirky, theatrical emo-pop project of Mom Jeans’ Bart Thompson, will be touring the West Coast opening for Delta Sleep in April, but they’ve also got a run of headlining dates before then, stopping in NYC (Knitting Factory on 3/21), Nashville, Indianapolis, Lakewood, and more, with select dates featuring support from Las Vegas band King of Heck. SCREAMING FEMALES

Screaming Females will be on the road with PUP throughout March, but they’ve just added headlining shows of their own during the tour, with dates in Los Angeles, Lawrence, and Boise. They’ll also play one other headlining show in February, which is their Annual Garden Party at NJ’s White Eagle Hall on 2/22. All dates can be found here.

WARHORSE

Worcester, MA doom band Warhorse reunited earlier this year to play their first show since 2005 at Maryland Doom Fest, and slowly but surely, they’ve kept the reunion going. They blew us away a couple of months later at Psycho Las Vegas, and then they played a couple club shows after that, and now they’re promising more shows for 2020, including one in Brooklyn.

SUPERSUCKERS

Long-running cowpunk shit-kickers Supersuckers will release new album Play That Rock n’ Roll on February 7 and you can check out single “Ain’t Gonna Stop (Till I Stop It) below. Before the album drops, the band will be on the road, with Colorado dates in Steamboat Springs and Denver, Texas dates in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston, plus Albuquerque and things wrap up with the Outlaw Country Cruise which sails from Miami on January 29. Comedian Iliza Shlesinger is heading out on “The Forever Tour” in 2020 and she’s added more dates, including a second NYC show.

MADE IN AMERICA FESTIVAL

Made in America returns to Philly over Labor Day Weekend 2020 (September 5 & 6) and while the lineup hasn’t been revealed 2-day passes are on early bird presale.
