Trap Them finish new album, announce shows

Metallic hardcore greats Trap Them have finished recording their followup to 2014’s Blissfucker, and it’s expected to be out this year. They once again worked with Kurt Ballou of Converge. The band says: “We’re psyched on how it came out and can’t wait for you all to hear it. More info on that soon.”

Trap Them also announced two Northeast shows for May: May 5 at Ralph’s in Worcester, MA and May 7 at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn. Tickets for Vitus are on sale now. Tickets for Ralph’s are coming soon.

In addition to presumably giving us new songs, the band are promising to hit stuff off 2011’s Darker Handcraft that they haven’t played live in a while. They’re also promising West Coast and European dates TBA.
