Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross to score Jonah Hill's 'Mid90s' film
The forthcoming coming-of-age drama Mid90s, the directorial debut of Jonah Hill, is slated to hit theaters this October, and it was recently announced that Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have composed the film’s score. Mid90s marks the sixth collaborative score effort by Trent and Atticus, who most recently composed the score for Ken Burns’ acclaimed The Vietnam War documentary series last year.
Mid90s was directed, produced, and written by Hill, and follows 13-year old Stevie as he befriends a group of skaters over the course of one summer, with a cast including Sunny Suljic, Lucas Hedges and Katherine Waterston, among others. The film debuts at Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, before it makes a full theatrical release on October 19.
