Twin Peaks share new song "Who It's Gonna Be" & releasing new 7" series
Today’s solstice marks the longest day of the year and the first day of summer. Twin Peaks, the band from Chicago (not David Lynch’s TV show which is back), are celebrating by contributing new song “Who It’s Gonna Be” to Amazon Music’s playlist Songs of Summer, which features 10 different artists contributing new tracks. Fitting right in to the playlist’s theme, this track is breezy and sun-soaked, with harmonies pairing nicely with the sugary, twangy guitar line that’s reversed at the end of the song. “Who It’s Gonna Be” will be officially added to the playlist Friday, June 23, but for now, you can check it out via Consequence of Sound below.

we will be releasing new music we recorded in Chicago every month for the rest of the year in a series we’re calling “Sweet ’17 Singles.” The songs will be on 7″ vinyl as well as online at the usual places. We’re only making 300 copies of each 7″ and we’re sending that wax directly to subscribers’ mailboxes before they’re available anywhere else. At the end of the year, we’ll put all the songs on a limited-edition 12″ which can also be yours for the price of admission: just $44.99.

Twin Peaks were just in NYC for two shows at Baby’s All right and will be on tour for most of the summer. They’re also lined up for Desert Daze and Sound on Sound fests this fall. All dates are listed below.
