Twisted Sister (and Mike Portnoy) honored the late AJ Pero at Starland Ballroom (pics, videos & setlist)

Sadly, Twisted Sister drummer AJ Pero passed away this year, but the rest of the band honored him with a tribute concert in the NYC-area at Sayreville, NJ’s Starland Ballroom on Saturday (6/13). Dee Snider was as excitable as ever, and he and the rest of TS gave the crowd tons of favorites like “I Wanna Rock,” “We’re Not Gonna Take It,” “You Can’t Stop Rock ‘n’ Roll,” “I Believe in Rock ‘n’ Roll,” and more. In AJ’s place was former Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy, who will also join the band on their farewell tour in 2016.

Opening the show was Four By Fate, a band with members of W.A.S.P., Ace Frehley’s Comet, Skid Row, and others, and Billy Mira & the Hit Men. More pictures (including shots of setlists) and a few videos, below…
