Ty Segall played Brooklyn Steel (pics, setlist)
Ty Segall, whose latest album, Freedom’s Goblin, came out in January, is on the road supporting it with his white-hot Freedom Band. They blazed through the NYC-area this past weekend, playing Brooklyn Steel on Friday (4/13) and Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre on Saturday (4/14). The set pulled much from this year’s LP, and Capitol Theatre, appropriately, got a Grateful Dead medley. Philadelphia’s Pulling Hiss opened both shows and a full set of pics from Brooklyn Steel and the setlists for both shows are in the gallery below.
The tour rolls on and will hit Austin’s Levitation fest next week.
