U.S. Girls share defiant, politically charged disco single "Mad as Hell"

Meg Remy is back with her first new U.S. Girls single since 2015’s great Half Free. Set to a throbbing, ’70s-style disco beat and Motown melody, “Mad as Hell” is a defiant protest anthem, urging us to take action. Likewise, the video drops multiple Megs into stock footage of political propaganda, newreels and war imagery, flipping leaders the bird to choreographed dance moves as mushroom clouds explode behind her. The song ends in girl group style with Meg singing, “These vital lies just don’t come in my size.” Watch, and read the lyrics, below.

U.S. Girls will be on tour this fall, and dates include at stop at NYC’s Mercury Lounge on October 30 (tickets) and Hudson, NY’s The Half Room on November 2 ($10 at the door). Updated tour dates are listed below.
