999 Bish Bash Bosh

UK punk vets 999 have been going strong since 1977 with just a few short hiatuses in between, and they’ve still got 3/4 of the original lineup intact (and their other member, bassist Arturo Bassick, has now been in the band for 27 years). They’re now set to release a new album — their first in 13 years — Bish! Bash! Bosh! on April 24 via Cleopatra Records (pre-order). We’re premiering the song “Crazy Tuesday World,” and if this one’s got a paranoid feeling, frontman Nick Cash tells us that’s because “the verses are actual quotes/words from people that ‘hear voices’ in their head.” The song sounds like the kind of classic ’70s punk that 999 helped define, and you can hear it for yourself below.
