UK soul singer Jorja Smith playing US shows this month

Jorja Smith Project 11

UK soul/R&B singer Jorja Smith left quite a mark last year with her Project II EP and a few non-EP singles, which should appeal to any fans of classic ’70s soul to Erykah Badu/Lauryn Hill to modern revivalists like Frank Ocean and Solange. She was nominated for the BBC Sound of 2017 (but lost to Ray BLK, whose fans would also probably like Jorja Smith). If you’re still unfamiliar with her stuff, you can change that by listening to her EP and those singles, below.

Jorja is coming over to the US soon for some shows, two of which are in NYC. The first is a free VEVO show at Greepoint Terminal on 1/19 with 070 Shake, Kiah Victoria, and AJ Tracey. RSVP is closed for that one, but three days later she plays SOB’s (1/22) and tickets for that one are on sale now. All dates are listed below.
