Usher shares videos ft. Future & Young Thug off new LP, playing Barclays Center 5 days after Rick Ross and stuff

Usher has been having a cool year. He collaborated with with The Roots live and with De La Soul on record, and he’s dropped two recent singles with two hot young Atlanta trap rappers: Young Thug (“No Limit”) and Future (“Rivals”). Both of those tracks will appear on his upcoming album Hard II Love, which drops September 16 via RCA. Watch the videos for those songs below.

You already knew Usher would be one of the people making a “special appearance” at Global Citizen Fest in NYC’s Central Park on September 24, and he’ll put on a more proper performance in NYC about a month later. He headlines this year’s Power 105.1-presented Powerhouse at Barclays Center on October 27. The rest of the lineup is Bryson Tiller, Wiz Khalifa, Tory Lanez, Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Desiigner and Young M.A.. Tickets, for what sounds like a very fun night in Brooklyn, are on sale now.

That show happens just five days after another huge rap show at Barclays Center (10/22), the recurring ‘Masters of Ceremony’ show which this time is headlined by more-than-one-time Usher collaborator Rick Ross. Ross aside, the lineup leans old school/golden age, with Method Man, Redman, House of Pain, Supercat, Rakim, Mobb Deep, The Pharcyde, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, NORE, Jungle Brothers and M.O.P. Yes, this lineup is real, and tickets for it are on sale now.

Speaking of great rap shows at Barclays Center in October and Future, don’t forget the Drake / Future tour hits that venue on 10/11 and 10/12.
