UV-TV prep 'Glass' LP (listen to "Hear"), touring (NYC w/ B Boys, Bonny Doon & more)
UV-TV comes to us from Gainesville, Florida, home of Fest and a solid punk lore, putting this trio in good company. They’re about to put out their first full-length album, following a demo in 2014 and split with LA’s Shark Toys in 2015. That 2014 demo shows off the band’s classically punk energy that adds a penchant for rhythm. With Glass, due out March 10 via Deranged, UV-TV show off an even sharper focus with a new sense of blissed out ambiance. We’re premiering one of the new tracks, “Hear.” Listen below.
The group will touring this spring, with two Brooklyn shows: Don Pedro on April 13 Sick Head, Roht, Subversive Rite, and Conspiracy ($8 at the door); and Union Pool on April 14 with Bonny Doon, Bodega, and headliners B Boys. Tickets for Union Pool are on sale now. All tour dates are listed below.
