Valee shares new song ft. Jeremih, touring w/ G.O.O.D. labelmate Sheck Wes
Chicago rapper Valee released his G.O.O.D. Music debut, the GOOD Job, You Found Me EP, back in March, right before he deservedly became one of the talked-about artists at SXSW. He’s now returned with his first single since that EP, “Womp Womp,” which features his Chicago neighbor Jeremih. It’s another promising track from the rising artist, as you can hear for yourself below.
Valee also announced a tour with another recent G.O.O.D. Music signee, Harlem’s Sheck Wes. Sheck signed to Kanye’s label in conjunction with Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack imprint and Interscope. Sheck caught Kanye and Travis Scott’s attention after dropping his breakthrough single “Mo Bamba,” and since signing to the label, he’s released a few other singles including “Chippi Chippi” and “Do That.” You can check those out below.
Sheck Wes and Valee’s tour includes a NYC show on June 29 at Irving Plaza. Tickets for that show go on Live Nation and Music Geeks presales today (5/3) at 10 AM (passwords = PLAYLIST and MUSICGEEKS) and the public on-sale starts Friday (5/4) at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.
