Van Morrison touring the West Coast this fall, playing Hollywood Bowl
The great Van Morrison has announced fall West Coast tour dates, kicking off with a sold-out show in Reno, NV on October 2, and then heading to California to play Berkeley’s Greek Theatre on 10/4. He’s just added three more California shows: the Santa Barbara Bowl on 10/5, Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on 10/6, and wrapping things up in Chula Vista on 10/8. He’ll be joined by Melody Gardot in Santa Barbara and LA, and Mavis Staples joins him for the Chula Vista show. Tickets for the Hollywood Bowl, Santa Barbara and Chula Vista shows go on sale Friday, May 3 at 1 PM Pacific, with presales for Hollywood Bowl starting Tuesday, April 30 at 10 AM Pacific.
Van Morrisson released The Prophet Speaks, his 40th studio album, last December and he played NYC’s Forest Hills Stadium last summer with Willie Nelson (who is playing there again this year). All tour dates are listed, along with a stream of The Prophet Speaks, below.
