Warm Up continues -- see pics of last week with A-Trak, Amber Mark, Buddy & more

Warm Up, the electronic/rap/indie/etc concert series that brings dance parties under the hot sun to the courtyard at Long Island City’s MoMA PS1, is in full swing and it continues this Saturday (7/21) with Maurice Fulton, Josey Rebelle, Innov Gnawa, Antal, rRoxymore, and Emily A. Sprague (tickets).

Last week (7/14) also had a great lineup, headlined by Fool’s Gold co-founder, former Kanye tour DJ, and all-around awesome musician A-Trak. Before A-Trak’s set, there was rising R&B singer Amber Mark (who’s on the new Dirty Projectors album), rapper/singer Buddy (whose debut album Harlan & Alondra just came out today, and who’s also touring with A$AP Ferg), DJ Taye, SahBabii, Florentino and Iglooghost. You can see pictures of last week’s in the gallery above.

Next week, July 28, it’s veteran NYC house DJ Tony Humphries, rising hip hop acts SOB x RBE and JPEGMAFIA, along with Tomasa del Real, MNDSGN, and Omar Apollo. Since we last spoke, the great rap producer/DJ Just Blaze was added too (tickets).

Other artists playing future Warm Ups include Laff Trax (Toro y Moi + Nosah Thing), Leon Vynehall, Standing on the Corner, Maxo Kream, World’s Fair (who also have a new album out today), Kelsey Lu, Anik Khan, Gang Gang Dance, Lizzo, and more.
