Warzone members reuniting for 20th anniversary Raybeez tribute

Raybeez

At Black N’ Blue Bowl 2012, members of NYHC vets Warzone reunited to pay tribute to their late frontman Raybeez (aka Raymond Barbieri). They’ll do that once again on October 1 in Tompkins Square Park, which is just a couple weeks after the 20th anniversary of Raybeez’s death. The 1 PM Sunday matinee also includes a reunion from ’90s-era NYHC band Shutdown and DJ sets by Merciless (aka Howie Abrams & Ill Bill), Frank 2 Far, and more TBA.

The show, which is presented by Black N’ Blue Productions and The New York Hardcore Chronicles, is free but donations are needed. A crowdfunding page will be going up soon.

Speaking of punk shows in Tompkins Square Park, we just posted pictures of Leftover Crack playing the Tompkins Square Police Riot 29th anniversary over the weekend.
