watch a trailer for Anthony Bourdain's Lower East Side 'Parts Unknown' episode (airing this week)
The final episode of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown airs this Sunday on CNN. It’s the Lower East Side episode where Anthony, who died in June, talks and dines with many of the key figures in NYC’s downtown scene of the late-’70s and early-’80s, including Blondie’s Debbie Harry and Chris Stein, Richard Hell, Lydia Lunch, Fab 5 Freddy, Harley Flanagan, publicist Danny Fields, filmmakers Amos Poe and Jim Jarmusch, The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black’s Kembra Pfahler, and former Lounge Lizard frontman John Lurie (whose 1991 series Fishing with John feels like a surreal precursor to what Bourdain would do 20 years later). Locations include Emilio’s Ballato, John’s of 12th Street, Max Fish, and B&H Dairy, Veselka, and more.
The episode airs Sunday, November 11 at 9 PM Eastern on CNN, and you can watch a preview below.
