The Rough Trade record shops are celebrating their 40th anniversary with unique collaborative concerts this year, and tonight (11/3) in London it’s The Raincoats and Angel Olsen. Their set included a cover of Patti Smith’s Springsteen-penned “Because the Night,” and a couple clips of that have surfaced. Check them out above.
Update: here’s the setlist and some more pics/videos. They did a mix of Angel Olsen and Raincoats songs, including a handful of new-ish songs The Raincoats have been playing at shows, and a cover of The Kinks’ “Lola” (which The Raincoats cover on their debut album).
