Camila Cabello on Fallon

Camila Cabello released her debut solo album Camila last week, which contains her huge, unstoppable hit “Havana.” It was her second single as a solo artist following her departure from girl group Fifth Harmony, and it proves that she’s doing just fine on her own. With its Latin-influenced rhythm and melody, simple earworm hook, and a smooth Young Thug verse, it defied expectations and helped turn Camila into a star. Even if you don’t normally like to turn on the radio, it’s tough to resist this one.

Camila promoted the single with several televised performances, including one that’s especially notable (to us, at least) on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The performance was part of the show’s recurring “Classroom Instruments” segment, and it gave us a rare chance to hear Camila perform this banger backed by The Roots and using toy instruments. It’s a lighthearted and cheerful take on the song, and we’re here for it.

Camila was also on Fallon last year to perform the song more properly. Watch that, the “Classroom Instruments” performance, and the song’s official video, below.
