watch Car Seat Headrest perform "Bodys" on 'Fallon'
Car Seat Headrest are currently on tour in support of the reworked Twin Fantasy, and they stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday to perform the single version of album highlight “Bodys.” The band premiered this new version at their show at Brooklyn’s Market Hotel on Tuesday (5/8), and it has some of the track’s interlude sections removed entirely, while still retaining the song’s best qualities. Near the end of the performance, Will Toledo made light of these changes, and stopped the song to inform the audience, “normally we do a bit of a breakdown here, but we only have 50 seconds left, so we’re just gonna go right into the final chorus.” The performance is a lot of fun to watch, especially with the band’s expanded lineup allowing Will to move freely around the stage.
