watch Florence & The Machine's Voice performance; Tour Dates coming soon

Florence & the Machine went from being a big to even bigger artist tonight after performing on The Voice tonight. She played her excellent new song, “Hunger,” one night after playing a headlining show at Walt Disney Concert Hall in LA with Perfume Genius. She sounded wonderful, and judges Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, and Carson Daly seemed to agree. Watch for yourself here:

Ryan Adams then played right after her (with one of the show’s finalists), so it was a good night for good musical guests on the season finale of the NBC show. You can watch him too:

Florence’s LA Concert Hall show was one of a just a few recently announced intimate shows, including last week’s shows at BAM in Brooklyn.

The previous time Florence played Brooklyn, it was two shows at the much bigger Barclays Center, and we imagine that it will again be arena sized venues when she returns on her next tour which is maybe being announced any second? Before going on The Voice tonight, Flo tweeted: “Special announcement for you North America.” We’re standing by. Stay tuned!

UPDATE: Florence posted a teaser for her North American tour that lists several cities, including NYC, Boston, Chicago, LA, Dallas, Houston, Nashville, Philly, Portland, San Diego, Seattle, Toronto, DC, and more. Watch:
