Iggy Pop & Josh Homme talk new album and perform "Gardenia" on 'Colbert' (watch)
Iggy Pop and Josh Homme played The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday night (1/21), debuting “Gardenia” from their forthcoming album Post Pop Depression (Cover art below). Decked out in suits, Iggy, Josh and the band — Queens of the Stone Age’s Dean Fertita and Troy Van Leeuwen, Arctic Monkeys’ Matt Helders and Chavez’s Matt Sweeney on bass — sounded pretty together for the swaggering song that has just a little sleaze. Video hasn’t surfaced from Colbert but you can listen to the studio version right now, below.
UPDATE: Watch Iggy and Josh talk with Colbert about the album, and watch them perform “Gardenia” live with the band, below.
Post Pop Depression is out March 18.
