watch Janelle Monae's 'Dirty Computer' film

Janelle Monae‘s great new album Dirty Computer is out today (read our review), and as she said she would, she accompanied the release of the album with a film of the same name. She calls the film an “emotion picture,” which she defines as “a narrative film and accompanying musical album.” Janelle stars in the film as Jane 57821, alongside Tessa Thompson (Westworld, Thor: Ragnarok, Dear White People, etc) as Zen, Jayson Aaron as Ché, and others. As mentioned, Janelle is supporting Dirty Computer on tour, including a NYC show on July 18 at the Hulu Theatre at MSG. Tickets are on presale now.
