Lana Del Rey and Jack Antonoff at Apple's Press Event at Brooklyn Academy of Music

watch Lana Del Rey & Jack Antonoff debut a new song at Apple event at BAM

Apple held one of its special announcement events in Brooklyn for the first time ever on Tuesday (10/30), and Lana Del Rey, accompanied by Jack Antonoff, ended the presentation with a two-song performance. The press event was held at Brooklyn Academy of Music, which was transformed with the Apple logo on its facade for the occasion (and perhaps to match Apple’s Downtown Brooklyn location, which is right around the corner). Lana and Jack played a new song, “How to Disappear,” from Lana’s upcoming album Norman Fucking Rockwell. They also performed “Venice Bitch,” which is one of two recently released singles that Lana and Jack made together (the other is “Mariners Apartment Complex”). Lana told the audience that Apple had told her not to curse on stage, so she introduced “Venice Bitch” as “Venice,” and didn’t give the name of the album. Watch video clips of Lana’s performance below.

Lana has teased another song from Normal Fucking Rockwell, “Sylvia Plath,” with a short video and a few lines of lyrics. Watch that below, as well.

As many predicted, Apple announced new iPad Pros at the event, as well as a new MacBook Air and a new Mac Mini.
