Just about every Nardwuar interview is a hilarious must-watch, and his latest victim is the great Long Beach rapper Vince Staples. Nardwuar tries gifting Vince with various rap records and an issue of The Militant, all of which Vince seems pretty ambivalent towards, until Nardwuar finally gives him a Joy Division record (“See this what I’m talking about!”). The whole thing is entertaining, and you can watch it below.
Vince recently released a new single, “BagBak.” He’ll be in NYC for a Terminal 5 show in March on his tour with Kilo Kish, and again for the Panorama festival.
