watch Richard Edwards (Margot & the Nuclear So & So's) debut new song "Lil Dead Eye-d"

Margot & the Nuclear So and So’s frontman Richard Edwards is doing the solo thing this year, releasing his debut solo album Lemon Cotton Candy Sunset on March 31 via Joyful Noise. He recently released the lead single Disappeared Planets,” and we’ve got the premiere of an in-studio acoustic video of Richard debuting another track from the album, “Lil Dead Eye-d.” He’s joined on guitar in the video by Mike Bloom, who plays on the new record, and has worked with Margot & the Nuclear So and So’s before (and with Jenny Lewis and Julian Casablancas). It’s a gorgeous bare-bones folk song, and you can check it out above.

Richard plays an album release show in NYC on April 1 at Rough Trade. Tickets for that show are on sale now.
