St. Vincent Dua Lipa

watch St. Vincent & Dua Lipa mashup "MASSEDUCTION" & "One Kiss" at Grammys

St. Vincent performed at the 2019 Grammy Awards ceremony, and as announced, she did a duet with pop singer Dua Lipa. We weren’t sure what to expect from this somewhat unlikely duo, but it was pretty cool! It started with St. Vincent alone on stage playing “MASSEDUCTION” (which won Best Rock Song), and she sounded great as ever. Then Dua Lipa walked out and started singing it with her, then the two of them worked a short “R-E-S-P-E-C-T” interpolation into the song, and then they turned the song into a medley with Dua Lipa’s Calvin Harris collab “One Kiss” (which STV added a killer guitar solo to). At the end, they worked “MASSEDUCTION” back into it and mashed up the lyrics of both songs. Watch a clip below and stay tuned for video of the full performance.

Right after the performance, the Grammys announced that Dua Lipa won Best New Artist. She also won Best Dance Recording for “Electricity,” her collaboration with Silk City, Diplo, and Mark Ronson.

St. Vincent also used the opportunity to release a new music video for “MASSEDUCTION,” and you can watch that below too.

UPDATE (2/12): Official video of the St. Vincent/Dua Lipa performance is out now and you can watch below:
