SZA made her 'SNL' debut (watch)

SZA made her Saturday Night Live debut this weekend (12/9), playing two songs off this year’s Ctrl. Backed by a choir and a small brass and woodwind ensemble, she belted out hits “The Weekend” and “Love Galore.” You can watch video of both below.

Having played a Pandora-sponsored show earlier this week, SZA is sticking around NYC to play sold-out shows at Brooklyn Steel tonight (12/10) and Irving Plaza on Monday (12/11).

A giggly James Franco, whose very entertaining new movie The Disaster Artist is out now, was this week’s host, and there were cameos by his pals Seth Rogen and Jonah Hill (both of whom have hosted SNL before), as well as Steve Martin.
