Brother Brothers Banjo Song

watch The Brother Brothers' new video + NYC show w/ Buck Meek/Pearla in Nov

The Brother Brothers are the Brooklyn folk/country duo of identical twin brothers David and Adam Moss, and as we’ve written before, their close harmonies kinda make them sound like a twangier version of Simon & Garfunkel. That very much comes across on their song “Banjo Song,” which gets a new animated video today (by Taylor Ashton). It’s a lovely song, and the video is cool stuff too. Check it out below.

The Brother Brothers are playing a hometown one-off show on November 16 at The Sultan Room, and that’s a very cool bill all around with Big Thief’s Buck Meek and Pearla playing as well. Tickets are on sale. Show poster below.

Speaking of Big Thief, their second album of 2019 comes out this Friday (10/11) and their tour starts tonight (10/9) with a sold-out, three-night run in NYC. Pearla released her debut EP Quilting & Other Activities on Egghunt Records last month.
