The National

watch The National play new songs "Quiet Light" & "So Far, So Fast"

When The National played Eaux Claires festival in Wisconsin this past weekend, they debuted two new songs, “Quiet Light” and “So Far, So Fast” (they also collaborated with Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, Sharon Van Etten, and more during their set). We didn’t find videos of those new songs, but The National just played them again at Šalata in Zagreb, Croatia last night (7/10), and good-quality fan-shot videos of both songs have surfaced. “So Far, So Fast” sounds like a pretty quiet ballad, even as far as National songs go, and “Quiet Light” is just ever so slightly more upbeat. Both seem like instantly appealing National songs, and you can watch the videos for both below. Their setlist and a few more pics from last night’s show are below as well.

The National have more upcoming dates, including their own two-day mini festival at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens with Phoebe Bridgers, Jason Isbell, Cat Power, U.S. Girls, and more.
