As you may have heard, CBGB (the movie) makes its premiere at this year’s CBGB Festival and will be in theaters October 11. We’ve seen the poster, and the soundtrack, and now we get the first trailer for the film that chronicles the creation of the legendary Bowery rock club, the rise of punk, and its infamous bathroom. You can watch and judge for yourself, but I’ll say… I always enjoy seeing Alan Rickman and Donal Logue who play owner Hilly Kristal and head of security Merv Ferguson, respectively.
