watch video of Yonatan Gat live in Brazil, catch him on tour (including an NYC show w/ Pill)

Yonatan Gat is very much a “see it live” musician, as he and his band’s style — usually set up on the floor and highly improvisational — can be described (as I have before) as in-your-face. If you’ve never gone to one of his shows, you can now get a bit of that experience in a new live video shot at a living room show in São Paulo, Brazil. It’s the first HD, pro-shot footage Yonatan’s ever officially released and it’s pretty mesmerizing, especially a bit where his drummer is really going to town and flashes of his face almost seem like a special effect. That video premieres in this post and you can watch it below.

Constantly on tour, Yonatan Gat is currently in the Southwest but also has a couple NYC shows coming up: November 13 at Palisades (rest of lineup TBA) and November 24 at Knitting Factory with Pill (tickets)
