Wax Idols announce tour with King Woman (whose vocalist released new LP as Miserable)

Fellow dark/heavy outfits Wax Idols and King Woman have announced a tour together for May and June. After kicking things off in the Midwest, the bands will make their way to NYC for a show at Saint Vitus on June 4, where local support will be provided by Primitive Weapons. (Wax Idols just played Vitus a few weeks ago). Tickets for that show are on sale now.

While we wait for a full-length follow-up to King Woman’s 2014 LP, Doubt, vocalist Kristina Esfandiari (also of Whirr) just released a new solo LP called Uncontrollable under the her Miserable moniker. It’s, well, pretty miserable (in a good way). You can listen to that below.

Wax Idols, who were just in NY last released American Tragic back in 2015. All dates listed, along with streams of Doubt and Uncontrollable, below.
