Having recently toured solo with Kevin Morby, and then as a duo with New Pornographers, Katie Crutchfield’s Waxahatchee have announced a full-band headlining tour in support of their upcoming album Out In The Storm (due 7/14 via Merge). Openers vary by date and include Cayetana, Snail Mail, Palehound, and Outer Spaces.

The run with Cayetana and Snail Mail includes a Brooklyn show on July 15 at Warsaw. Tickets for that show (and the whole tour) go on sale Friday.

Before the tour begins, Katie and her twin sister Allison Crutchfield will do “An Afternoon Jam Session” during NYC’s Vulture Festival on May 21 at Milk Studios from 4 to 5:30 PM (tickets).

Waxahatchee also play Athens Popfest and a Merge showcase in Raleigh with Superchunk and Ex Hex. All dates are listed below.

The lead single off Out In The Storm is “Silver,” and Waxahatchee also released a demo version of it for ‘Our First 100 Days.’ Watch the video below.
