Weatherbox share new song, playing NYC with The Hotelier (solo)

Weatherbox returned from hiatus earlier this year, though they’re still much less active than they used to be, so it’s good news that they just scheduled their second NYC one-off of 2019. It’s happening at Brooklyn Bazaar on November 21, and tickets are on sale now. It’ll be one of the very last shows at the venue.

UPDATE: The show will be opened by a solo set from The Hotelier singer Christian Holden.

The San Diego band have just two other upcoming dates scheduled at the moment: an LA solo show this month and a hometown show opening for Cults in November.

Weatherbox also debuted a new song today, recorded live in studio for Half Way Home, just like the other new songs they released earlier this year. It’s a crunchy, punchy dose of the band’s trademark eccentric indie rock. Listen and watch the in-studio video below.

In related news, main Weatherbox member Brian Warren’s newer band Miss New Buddha recently released a song off their upcoming debut LP.
