Weekend shared second track from ‘Jinx,’ opening for Medicine in NYC, announce fall dates

by Bill Pearis

Weekend have shared a second track from their upcoming second album, Jinx which is out July 22 via Slumberland. You can stream the pounding, rhythm-section-heavy “It’s Alright” below. The vinyl version of Jinx, just like their first LP, Sports, comes as a double disc of 45RPM 12″s in a gatefold sleeve with a fold-out poster. You can check out the packaging below.

Weekend, who were just added to Medicine‘s record release show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on August 16 (tickets), have just announced a fall tour and some of those dates are with Chicago’s Disappears. Don’t be surprised if they add a Brooklyn date sometime around the album’s release, too.
