Welsh postpunk band Chain of Flowers on North American tour, playing Saint Vitus

chain-of-flowers

Chain of Flowers hail from Cardiff, Wales and make gothy, wall-of-sound postpunk that could fit comfortably on a mixtape amongst The Chameleons, The March Violets and Sisters of Mercy, or current groups like Eagulls, Iceage and Merchandise. Part of that wall of sound comes from the group’s size: Chain of Flowers are a six-piece, and it makes for a fiery, strident sound. You can check out their 2015 self-titled debut below.

Chain of Flowers are currently in the U.S., having just played LA’s Beserktown III and are now on the East Coast wrapping up their tour. They play Baltimore tonight (8/30) and will play Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus on Wednesday (8/31) with Bootblacks, and Ritual Humor. Tickets for Saint Vitus are on sale now.
