Weston reuniting (again) for one-off with Digger, Latex Generation & more

These days, James Alex is mostly busy with Beach Slang (or Quiet Slang), but a few years ago he took the time to briefly reunite his ’90s-era band Weston, and now Weston are back once again. They’re playing a one-off at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus on October 7 and it’s with their old pals Digger (just like the last reunion was). It’s also with ’90s-era Long Island punks Latex Generation (who just reunited for this past weekend’s Wild Fest), ’90s-era NJ punks Doc Hopper, and all-female Ramones tribute band The Ramoms. Tickets will go on sale “later this month.”

Beach Slang are also playing Jack Antonoff’s Shadow of the City festival in Asbury Park later this month (8/25).
