'Westworld' releases full piano covers of Radiohead, Cure, Soundgarden & Stones

As you may know, HBO’s Westworld has been using piano covers of some pretty cool songs in each episode (they’re played by the player piano in the saloon). That includes Radiohead‘s “No Surprises,” Soundgarden‘s “Black Hole Sun,” The Rolling Stones‘ “Paint It Black,” and, since we last spoke, The Cure‘s “A Forest.” Also since we last spoke, the full versions of those songs have been officially released online. The covers are all created by the show’s composer, Ramin Djawadi, who also scores Game of Thrones.

The recently-premiered fifth episode, Contrapasso, features a cover of Nine Inch Nails‘ “Something I Should Never Have,” which isn’t online yet. Listen to the others below.

In related news, those in NYC can see a screening of the 1973 movie Westworld (on which the show is based) at Videology on Saturday, November 12 at midnight (so technically Sunday morning). Tickets are available.
